Our Greeter Crackers

Crackers is a 5 year old Double Yellow Head Amazon Parrot.  She lives at the shop 
during business hours and is the official greeter.  When someone drives up she starts 
saying hello. Then when they walk through the door she says 'Hi, how are you?'  
She answers the phone and cries like a baby when she doesn't get her way.  She is very 
people friendly and loves to visit with the ladies when they come.  We have had crackers 
since she was six weeks old and had no feathers.  She was hand fed and held by everyone. 
And believe it or not she is a quilter.  When I sat down to hand quilt she would sit on 
the quilt frame and wait for the needle to come up from the bottom and pull the needle 
and thread through with her beak.  She is quite the character and a delight to everyone.
